Days after Juristar

Well, college indeed is a place where a mind tends to divert a lot, and obviously in between all the hustle bustle Juristar updates were affected.
so here comes the report of the finale, which once again proved the spirit of juristar ( which was heavily based on the participation across the batches)

it was a beautiful night with all the damsels looking pretty in their ethnic attires, one was sure of catching some lads in their ethnic dress too. there was rush behind the stage and there were people strolling outside the green room just to get the glimpse of various shows...

Night was started with an invocation dance piece by Priyanka who started with a beautiful piece. There were dances splashed across the night and all the batches gave their best shots at it.A special mention for first years , who actually came forward and prepared 2 dances just to give seniors the fight..... it was indeed a treat ...SLCU dance team continued the legacy and performed on some of the best numbers " including kaminey" which was loved by the audience... The theatre team came up with a good script and the western band with their original compositions did do justice to songs....

the real treat was the fusion between the eastern and western genre .. it included people from various batches... the song of carpenter became so popular that people were heard humming the tune days after the event...The hip -hop by the dance team was really a surprise. Sharanya and team deserves a kudos for coming up with a catchy number....

the best part was yet to come, with the result of best batch to be announced. like every year , this year one could see bitter rivalry across batches for this trophy and this year the trophy " the lady of the night" went to 4th year batch... the first years really gave a very good fight and it was indeed appreciated by the organisors of the event.. one could see the 4th year batch trying level best to hog the limelight with the whole evening dinner shadowed by their photography sessions...

3rd years also gave a very good fight with regard to the photography sessions... one could hear the term "smile" all across iv, with every group posing for a group photo....
there were students , teachers and parents ... everyone ....

it was indeed a beautiful night and one more year in SLCU came to an end.......
Cul Com really did a good work and after all that work hard , Juristar was indeed a wonderful event....

thanks to everyone who helped in making this dream come true....

Juristar updates

this is a dailiy update from a reporter , who has been closely watching the activities of Juristar and trust me , it was indeed shocking to see such a low turnout......

the co-ordinators had the student body to blame , the students had the juniors to blame and the juniors had the assignments to blame so in the end it was all a viscous circle..... its funny how these events are started with all the enthusiasm in the world and yet the same dream becomes so difficult to attain cos no one really has the energy to take the dream forward ................

we could see the Cul com president running around , the secretary really panting and some students who wished to look busy with nothing to do ,,,,,,,,,, but end of the day this very cul com was always ready with something worth looking for ............ let it be debate or let it be collage they have always pulled it off and and am sure they will make 12th night a star event ,........

law school has lot of flaws , but Juristar is the only time, we law students have something to look forward as a team ,,, its not for 4 th years or 3 rd years , its for the whole law school and every body needs to be there ...........................

juniors ................ make sure u hog ur limelight
seniors ................... ur day to rule the school

and teachers ................... pls pls pls lets have fun....................
students just wanna have fun ........................

wait for more undercover reports from behind the scenes ;-)
